An Attitude of Gratitude and Thanksgiving!

Attitude of Gratitude
It’s that time’ again for Canadians to be taking stock reflecting on gratitude and Thanksgiving… since after all, it is that time of year!

Truth is though; we all should express an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving daily, regardless of season, date or anything else for that matter!

Expressing daily gratitude is healthy. It can even make you happy! Regardless of what you might be going through or how pleased you are with certain circumstances, focusing on gratitude does a number of positive things to your soul:

  • It can make you happy, even when you’re feeling low! (I know I already said that :-) )
  • It helps you shift everything into perspective. You realize what is really important…. And what’s not.
  • Expressing gratitude to others can make ‘them’ happy… which can make you happier still!
  • It makes you realize how miraculous life actually is and how fortunate we are to be living it.
  • You notice how precious even the little things in life actually are… and they become SO much bigger and meaningful.
  • You realize how fortunate you are, just as you are!
  • Most of us are truly blessed; we just need a bit of a tweaking here and there & now and then to realize it!

With that said, This weekend I’m giving thanks for having my family & friends.

I am thankful for being here to celebrate everyday. I am grateful I can cuddle with my children. I’m grateful I can pray. .. and to be absolutely clear… I’m thankful for these precious gifts every single day.

I would also like to express my gratitude for the freedom to live by my own schedule and design, the ability to run this business of mine, write this blog and for you and all the many friends I have made this last two (plus) years.

I am thankful for everyone I’ve connected with partnered with and for all the support I’ve received. I thank YOU very much for reading my blog, for joining me on my adventures and just for giving me the time of day.

Giving thanks and expressing an attitude of gratitude is a huge moral booster. Life takes on a whole new meaning if you just let it out and count your blessing daily

Today I had a little ‘writers block’… and knew I wanted to say more…and lots of it but couldn’t seem to put it into words. In my “nosy-ing” around the internet I found an excellent post below written by Leo Babouta. (I’m so grateful I found this!! :-) ) – he also believes in an attitude of gratitude and absolutely ‘nails it in the link at the bottom of this post.

Before I sign off, I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend. I hope you express your gratitude for all the blessings you have and make it your new habit. I’d love to hear how it makes you feel!

In the meantime, read below… it’ll be good for your soul!
