The Law of Vibration – What is it Exactly?

The Law of Vibration

The Law of Vibration is one of the less acknowledged universal laws, and as you might recall from my post the Applying the Law of Attraction I mentioned there are actually twelve other primary laws as well as twenty-one sub laws all working together.

The Law of Vibration is more or less a foundation of the Law of Attraction, where like attracts like, and is based on the condition of your inner thoughts, etc., so you will notice similarities and also how these two laws in particular work in unison.

This law states that the universe moves in a circular pattern and everything in it is made of vibrational energy that is in a constant state of motion. This applies even to solid matter as well as living beings and includes our thoughts, feelings and desires, etc., and is present even though the movement cannot be seen with the human eye.

It also states that our thoughts and feelings cause our vibrational energy to flow at different speeds and that our emotional state will cause us to give off these vibrations at different frequencies.

In other words, what we feel or think on the inside is what we put out on the outside.

When we are experiencing happiness, joy and other positive emotions we are in alignment with our goals and operating at a higher frequency which causes the energy to move faster, however when we are sad, afraid, angry or anxious, we still vibrate, but at a much lower and slower frequency. (Although… sometimes I wonder! :-) )

Being consciously aware of your inner thoughts and beliefs is very important to your outer image. If you feel down, you will definitely emulate that emotion, where on the other hand if you feel happiness, you will glow and this will be picked up by others and the rest of the universe.

Additionally, vibrations sent out with good intentions return matching rewards at the same speed and at the level and strength in which they are sent, but negative malicious or selfish thoughts come back with lower rewards in equal proportion.

This might account for the fact that if we allow ourselves to be consumed by negativity, it can be a difficult and slow process to rise above.

The universe doesn’t care one way or the other which level of vibration you put out, it will only return matching results automatically in perfect calibration to your state of mind and inner thought process.

I am perfectly aware of the fact that to some this may seem a little “whoo hoo” (as I make circular motions pointing to my temple) :-) …but being that I am a great believer in the power of positive thinking I do believe that everything starts with conscious awareness of your inner thoughts and feelings.

I’m also convinced that when we feel sad or disappointed, we tend to have less energy, but when we feel happy, we experience an elevated level of energy. Due of my personal first hand experience, I am lead to believe there is more to the power of personal energy than meets the eye.

I do not consider myself a ‘new age’ philosopher nor am I an expert in quantum physics, but science has proven the fact that everything is made of energy and is in a constant state of motion as well as the fact there are many things that surround us that we do not see, (i.e.: WIFI, radio signals, etc) confirming there is much more to the universe than we can tangibly touch.

In previous years I had never really given any thought to universal laws, but I did realize that on days where either myself, or people I knew were feeling ‘low’, the feelings were easy to detect.

It was only since I started my personal development business that I became aware of the effects of our inner state and it was actually after I attended a conference last year that I became interested in learning more.

It all started when I traveled alone to Arizona to attend a business meeting. Although I was a little insecure at the thoughts of traveling alone, I also felt very excited and positive to be a part of it at the same time.

When I walked into the busy conference center, a lady approached me and asked if she could sit with me. She told me she immediately sensed positive energy when I walked into the room.

It was then that I thought “wow”… maybe there is some stock to these positive and negative ‘vibes’ ! :-)

I chose to give you the ‘Coles notes’ version in simpler language. Some of the books on this topic are quite scientific and though I feel I have grasped the basics, I could never repeat the science behind it without falling asleep at the keyboard!

So there you have it. I realize the Law of Vibration is incredibly close to the Law of Attraction, but it is said to be a supporting foundation and I can see how they differ yet still work together.

To me, it seems plausible, and whether you feel there’s any validity or not, I feel its something to be aware of and if nothing else can only sharpen your conscious awareness of your inner thoughts & belief system and how they might be affecting your outer self.

I look forward to sharing more on the other universal laws in future posts. In the meantime, I hope you have enjoyed my quick briefing on how I understand the Law of vibration and I’m interested to know your thoughts.

If there is anything I have overlooked, please share comments below. I’d be interested in learning from your knowledge.

Sending you all happy positive vibes! ;-)

Hi Jayne,
(I’m also convinced that when we feel sad or disappointed, we tend to have less energy…) I guess that lends to the phrase, giving off good vibes….! There is lots to think on and understand about ourselves, just how powerful our thoughts can be.

So true about the energy, sadness can bring loss of appetite, increased sleep or loss of, and our head is seemingly attached to the heart, until a better vibe comes along, and cuts the string!

thanks for sharing.

HI Joe, isn’t it amazing how out tiny little minds can make such a difference to our performance.

Sleep, ah yes… I’ve been there too when feeling down. Its a wonderful feeling when that better vibe comes along! That is why it’s up to us to understand this, so we can create our own healthier thoughts. Recognizing it helps!

Thanks for coming to see me!

Jayne
