Blokube Blog Community | Be There or Be Square!

blog sharing, blogging community, blog community

Whether you are a new blogger or a seasoned professional, if you are interested in sharing your content in an awesome blogging community, then you ought to be using Blokube.

There are many things I love about Blokube, and I will share a few points … but I’ll tell you up front that that I’m saving the best till last.

First of all I should explain to you to the best of my ability “what” Blokube actually is.

Well, Blokube is a Social Media Network / blog community & voting website where are you welcomed to share your content with others. Other participants can share it further, comment and vote on it as well.

Naturally, you also have the opportunity of meeting and interacting with hundreds of other talented and knowledgeable people and will be sure to learn from their content as well as comment and vote to support them of course.

With all this said, the part I appreciate about Blokube is the fact that you do not have to share and vote prior to submitting your own content first. Many similar sites require you share a certain number of posts before you are able to submit your own.

Blokube is one of those blog sharing communities where you simply enjoy hanging out for a while. Since there are so many incredible people and posts, it’s difficult to just pop in and submit without picking up a nugget or two from others as well as leaving a vote and a comment while you’re at it!

I also love the fact that it is so easy to participate. You may add a button on your blog in order to automatically share you post, or you may simply create a free account over at Blokube, login and paste your URL in to the box to the right.

It is so convenient, quick and easy to share your posts; even your images are auto-submitted… although you may choose a different one if you please.

The point is, by only having to basically type in a few keywords, your post is literally submitted in seconds. (This gives me a few extra minutes to poke around catch up on a few posts!).

Other Blokube Features include

* Your own personal activity wall.
* The ability to add friends and build up your Social Network
* Private Messaging Feature
* Chat Feature similar to FB which allows you to interact when other peers are online.
* Further Sharing Options such as FB, Twitter, Stumble Upon and +1
* A variety of posting categories from Blogging Techniques, Marketing, SEO, Lifestyle, Tech and much more.

In my opinion Blokube is such an important social media tool, but somehow feels more ‘personal’ than some of the other blog sharing sites.

I have met some incredible new friends both personally and professionally simply from being part of this network, as well as learned a great deal from a number of these new contacts.

As promised, I would like to share one of the best parts of Blokube… and here it is:

Blokube was created by my friend Devesh Sharma, a 17 year old wiz kid from India who is so tech savvy, its enough to make your eyes cross!

Devesh is one of the most talented, smart and helpful humans on the planet and has managed to get me out of so many pickles and save my bacon by correcting my ‘Techy Ooops’s” on more than one occasion! What’s more, I know I’m not the only one he’s rescued from technical mis-talent!

He takes great pride is constantly tweaking and improving this community to ensure it is the best it can be. You will find he will always go the extra mile to help you out in many ways as well as make you feel right at home.

He also spends a lot of time featuring a special bloggers of the week who he places in the spotlight for additional exposure. This, as you can imagine is an excellent benefit to the ‘star of the week’ in building social proof and driving extra traffic to your own site.

There’s a lot going on over at Blokube, I am sure I’ve likely missed a thing or two so the best thing to do if I were you is to surf on over and check it out yourself.

When you open your free account you will find a treasure chest of new blogs to visit, you will find you also will attract new visitors and traffic to your own site as well.

With this great blog sharing community, sharing talents, building social proof and expanding your social network has never been so easy. You’ll wonder why you didn’t join sooner!

Hello Jayne. Am a member of Blokube and agree with you that Devesh is doing a good job. Didn’t realise he’s just 17 years old!

Jayne Kopp August 26, 2011 at 9:12 pm

Hi Catarina, yes Devesh certainly is doing a good job… and isn’t it hard to believe he is only 17. Not only is he a smart cookie, but he’s so mature too. What foresight for a young man.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Jayne,

Thanks for the tip. I hadn’t heard of Blokube before. Perhaps they just changed this, but you do have to vote for at least 5 submissions before submitting your own link…

Hugs,
Melody

HI Melody, nope. You can just start submitting. No need to vote or anything first.

What I found though is there is such a medley of awesome posts that you just seem to be attracted to a couple while you’re there. (at least I am) so I always end up nosying around for a few minutes and leaving the odd comment, voting. etc.

Give it a whirl. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. If not, no biggy!

Best

Jayne

PS: Dev made a pro version too. Announced yesterday. I had to turn around and do another post!

Hi Jayne!

I love Blokube!… and you’re right, Dev is very talented and giving of his time. The thing I like most about Blokube is one of the points you made — you aren’t required to share or comment on posts, only if you wish. When you receive a comment on Blokube or you see a post get shared multiple times, you know it’s because people liked what you’ve written!

Thanks, for this great review of Blokube, Jayne!

Hey Dr. Bob. Yes, Devesh has certainly got me out of a few pickles. Some Days I feel like we’re related! :-)

He is a talented young fella. Blokube was definitely a great move for all of us.

Best

Jayne
