Credit Where it’s Due! |One Great Affiliate Marketing Course From One Awesome Fella!

by Jayne Kopp on February 7, 2012

affiliate marketing, affiliate marketing course

As some of you may or may not know, I own a few affiliate marketing niche sites as I feel it’s an super way to earn a few additional streams of income in conjunction with my personal development and coaching business.

Up until about a year ago however, I had never really focused on affiliate marketing much at all, although I’ll be the first to admit I enjoyed earning commissions occasionally by recommending the odd product here and there but that was as far as I went.

It wasn’t until I wrote an article a while back where I happened to make a casual suggestion based on my positive impression of a product I use… and earned a big fat commission… well a few of them to be honest.

This, as you can likely appreciate caught my attention! 😉

I thought, if I can earn commissions… by not even ‘meaning to’… just think of the untapped possibilities that lay before me if I focus more seriously on affiliate marketing and try my hand at building up a couple of niche sites.

Now as a caveat … that’s not always the way it goes… the flood gates don’t always open like that,  much to my chagrin! 🙂  but that’s a whole different post.

Now, I already knew how affiliate marketing worked but I was interested in learning some of the really effective way of building a few additional little income streams on the side and wanted some pointers to improve from someone I knew I could trust.

I decided to dig a little deeper into this affiliate marketing business model and turned to a fellow I admire and whose list I’ve been on for a number of years.  His name is Matt Carter.

Matt has been an affiliate marketer for quite some time now and currently earns a ‘more than full time’ income doing what he does best!  That is of course,  affiliate marketing!

Matt also created an affiliate marketing course early last year and because I admire his integrity and down to earth nature the way I do, I jumped on board and purchased it immediately.  There was no question in my mind as to the value it would provide and to be honest it was likely one of the best little courses I have ever clapped eyes on.

I mean if truth be told, I have purchased in the thousands of dollars of courses over the years… enough to fill a small library (believe me).  Some good, some bad… and some well… let s not even go there. 😐

Since following Matt’s instruction … almost to the letter, I have done quite well to be honest.  I still could use a little improvement here and there, but since the affiliate marketing has been more or less a side line for me, I have to say I’ve very pleased with the results I’ve gleaned this far.

Now, I did write a post last year about his course …the post is titled Two Awesome Affiliate Marketing Courses you can read it  if the mood swings you.

To this day, I stand by everything I shared in that post… the two courses I recommend I also own, and have to say they are worth every penny.  (Which by the way they are ridiculously affordable)

Well, the reason I’m writing once again about Matt Carter and Rapid Profit Formula isn’t at all to ‘flog’ his course but more to share with you how awesome Matt really is and give credit to a very decent human… where it’s due.

I am so impressed with this young fella and to be honest I truly feel  that anyone who wants to learn from someone who has a good solid head on his shoulders and doesn’t beat around the bush… he’s your man.

You see, Matt has already done quite very well with his product Rapid Profit Formula.  He has earned many positive reviews and the product has rightfully gained well deserved recognition.

Now here’s the thing that blows me away though:  As many of us who are already in this internet marketing industry know, there have been a few significant changes with Google this year which has caused many of us to make a few changes in the way of our marketing efforts.

Well, because Matt is always at the top of his game, he stays up to date with the “wave”… and does an excellent job of explaining some of these necessary changes to his readers.

The part I just couldn’t wait to share with you (wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t) was that Matt, instead of creating a new product to outline these changes (which he could have very easily done… and done quite well with at that), has instead re-created over 80 percent of the Rapid Profit formula course to take into account the recent changes and apply to the here and now.

What’s more this is like a free upgrade so to speak.  Those of us who own RPF already, automatically benefit from his upgrade… without upgrading or having to fork out any additional funds to learn the new information.

How many guys would do that?  I mean seriously??

He has more or less, re-written the course (so to speak) at no cost to those who already own it.

I personally, don’t know anyone who would do that for their customers and I do know a few internet marketing “gurus” in their own right.

Most people would have created a ‘new and improved’ Rapid Profit Formula… or “Rapid Profit formula 2”… but not Matt.  No Siree, he went and created new content and replaced the old just because that’s the way he rolls.

I really feel that anyone who is interested in Affiliate Marketing and would like the help of someone who truly knows the industry, cares about his customers, is no BS and bursting with integrity,  not to mention teaches nothing  but sheer value, Matt Carter is definitely that person.

As far as Rapid Profit Formula goes, it is the one course I refer to over and over again and for the price tag, you just can’t beat it.

Like anything you wish to master, you do have actually do the work and do the tasks he teaches… but he’ll be the first to spell that out to you.  If you’re interested in learning about affiliate marketing and you want to learn from the best, Matt is your guy hands down!

I truly believe that if  you are a ‘leader’ and create your own products, it would be a wise move to take a leaf out of Matt’s book and look after your customers in the same way.  It’s something that will come back and pay you in spades down the road and do wonders for your reputation.

Thanks for sharing!

HI Ryan, 🙂 Long time no hear! How’s life in your part of the globe these days?

To be honest Ryan, there are not too many products I recommend to be honest but being there are so many people looking for ‘solid’ suggestions, I thought it was worth a mention, particularly since Matt just re-structured his course. I thought that was worth pelting a rose or two!

If you’re into affiliate marketing, and want to learn the ropes… this is the best suggestion I can think of.

Thanks for taking the time to pop over. Always lovely to see your smiling face!

Jayne thanks for sharing this course:) As an internet marketer I’m always interested in people’s opinions of other products etc. as that’s the best way to get an honest review of them.

It looks like Matt is making great products and I’m very tempted to have a look further at this… feel free to ping me an affiliate link if you have one:)

HI Lilach, It doesn’t surprise me that you like to keep your finger on the pulse! To be honest, I have purchased a great number of courses (as mentioned) and the ones that are solid are far and few between.

I will shoot you a link for our perusal.

I know so many people are hesitant to purchase courses online because they are afraid of having another ‘sparkly’ course that teaches nothing but fibs.

Thanks for your comment.

Jayne
PS: I’ll shoot you a link over soon.

Hi Jayne,

Now some might say that you probably praised Matt so you would get more clicks (some do that0, but I know you. You wrote this with utmost sincerity. You are one great lady!

Got a couple of things right now and I have promised myself not to buy another course that would be on my shelf. Too many there already. But if I ever need to look into affiliate marketing, of course you know where I’d look.

Thanks for being generous in praise.

HI Tosin… “some” might say that… and that’s just fine. Most people know I rarely recommend products on my blog, and like you those who know me … know I don’t put my name behind anything I don’t truly believe in.

I have a huge number of requests from people asking for solid advice. Many of these contacts are just trying to determine how to get started. When I can suggest a product I know is no BS… and a safe investment, I feel completely comfortable knowing I’m providing sound advice.

I know the feeling Tosin. You must use what you have before you move on. I’ve made the mistake of ‘collecting’ and not using before… I don’t do that anymore! 🙂

I bought a big $10k program from a well-known Internet Marketer 2 years ago and he’s still selling the same program. He does make minor changes to it every year, but the basic concepts haven’t been updated although the Internet marketplace has changed radically since he developed the techniques 5 or so years ago.

Thanks, Jayne, for sharing the story of at least one big name who is trying to keep up with changing technologies. It makes me just a bit less jaded about the industry as a whole.

Jayne Kopp February 11, 2012 at 11:50 pm

HI Lesa, with all the products out there… that teach utter trash… it’s easy to get jaded.

I would have hoped for 10K the creator of your program would do more than minor adjustments. ((wow))

I sure hope you were able to get 10K’s worth of value… even if only at the time of purchase!

Thanks for stopping by Lesa. Always lovely to see you nice flashy smile!

Hi Becca thanks so much for our comment. BTW… I have not gone over to your blog (yet) to learn about your ‘healthy’ suggestions but I will.

Regarding the affiliate marketing… this is one of the few courses I would recommend to be honest… and believe me I have spent a small fortune over the years. It’s too bad more people don’t have the integrity Matt does.

It’s really a solid little program… and all the bases are covered sensibly. I am sure you will enjoy it and learn a lot if you decide to take it for a spin.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Hi Jayne,

I am one who believes in having multiple streams of income and will be checking out your link shortly. It is awesome that Matt updated your product, free of charge. He very easily could have created and sold a new product, which you probably would have bought, right? Looking forward to checking out the affiliate marketing course. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hi Jamella, it’s good you’re not putting all your eggs in one basket.

Don’t get me wrong… I love what I do and I love working with people… but I also have other passions that I know a few things about… and many that interest me in the way of learning about them.

For me, affiliate marketing is something I have really enjoyed doing ‘on the side’… so to speak, but to be honest, I really think I will continue to do more.

there is a lot to be said to only be accountable to yourself. Again,… I love people but sometimes I spend SO much time coaching that (depending on who I’m working with)… I just like a complete change.

I have a nice site that earns over $100 per week. Now that’s not huge and Matt might chuckle… but I have others that earn $25-60 (ish) and I know if I continue to provide good pages… that will improve… so ya know… it’s worth having something to fall back on… or have as extra.

**sorry… end of rant*** LOL

As far as Matt having the option to build a whole new product… that is exactly my point. After all, I have (along with many, many others… ) already bought RPF. I would have most certainly bought another ‘new and improved’ version.

I just think the way he went ahead to look after the customers he already had says a lot about his character and morals. Many would have cashed in.

Anyway… lovely to see you. Thanks so much for commenting and when the time is right I am sure you will find value in the course.

Thanks!

HI Stacy, there are definitely a few ‘very good to know’ pointers that an experienced affiliate marketer can share.

For me, affiliate marketing is one of those ‘put your head in neutral’ pleasures. Many of my affiliate sites… well… I only have about 6 are on completely different topics which gives me a nice break from personal development. (LOL).

Once of my sites earns me a cool 100 bucks per week… and hey… gotta like that. Just imagine 10 sites like that! Perhaps one day 🙂

No seriously though, there are good teachers and not so good teachers and I really like Matts integrity and the fact he doesn’t mislead.

In any event… I hope your day is going well. I am looking forward to your possible Friday post about business promotion.

Hey Jayne, I’m with you on owning a large “Internet Marketing Library” worth of materials. Some free books I’d have gladly paid for, while some paid material I tossed as garbage. You truly have to find the nuggets that are online for sure.

PS. The second link brings up a 404 and that will cut into your profits girl! 🙂

Hope you have a fantastic day. I’ve been working all morning and am heading out for a well deserved afternoon break! 🙂 I love my job! LOL

Hey Warren, thanks so much. Doesn’t it figure..? I always ‘check’ my links… ‘cept this time! 😉

It’s fixed, thanks to you!

Yes, the accumulation of crap can really lighten your wallet can’t it. With this course though, it was ridiculously in-expensive and likely one of the best little gems I’ve found. I guess that adds to the fact that ‘more is NOT always better’ 😉

Hope you enjoy your well deserved break. Hope you are feeling good. Keep me posted on how thing are going for you.

No, turns out it’s “ironic” I published a guest post today for someone and wordpress added or appended my domain before his domain resulting in broken links (He pointed it out) LOL
What comes around goes around. I found your broken link of the day, he found mine! LOL

I’m doing good. Just a bit tired!
The break was good, we went to see the doc (fiance is pregnant with our first) and all is good on that front. Heartbeat, weight, and activity are all good. Also picked up some things like crib, stroller, and car seat. Looking forward to April 13th If she comes on time she’ll be a Friday the 13th baby! 🙂

Anyway I’m off to try and get rid of a browser virus I picked up earlier today. Can’t access my Google acct’s or search results. Fun times! 🙂

HI Easther, well, it’s definitely worth looking at if it’s something you’re interested in. In that case, I don’t think you could learn from anybody any more sensible. For the price it’s pretty much of a not brainer. I lover to affiliate market on the side and for me it’s been a very worthwhile endeavour.

Hope you day is going well.

Hi Jayne,

Thanks for the recommendation. I haven’t heard of Matt Carter but you’ve given the product high praise so I will definitely look into it.

The Internet marketers who I like, respect and know their stuff include:

– Henry Gold
– Sean Mize
– the late Beverley Clement (friend and mentor)

There are a lot more marketers that I like and who I’m friends with but these guys don’t get the mention they deserve.

Jayne Kopp February 8, 2012 at 11:09 pm

Hi Alan, thanks so much for stopping by.

I am sure there are a number of marketers who deserve recognition. There are many who really don’t. I love to give credit where it’s due and I am sure you will agree with Matt’s style. He is just so no-BS’ and tells it how it is. He doesn’t sugar coat and he isn’t afraid of telling people to get off their rear ends as it’s the only way to make things happen.

I also like the fact he doesn’t flog ‘shite’… everything he recommends is valuable. For such a young fella (I’m guessing I have a decade on him 🙂 … at least, sadly)… I am very impressed.

I really appreciate you sharing the names above. I am sorry about Beverly passing btw.

I think it’s nice occasionally to spread the word… after all you just might be doing your readers who need some solid help the key to get ahead.

Thanks so much Alan.

I know someone that deserves the spotlight and credit … YOU! Jayne, while reading this article I couldn’t help but think how generous you are with others.

You demonstrate such support for your “fellow bloggers” – you are genuinely happy to put the spotlight on others and I find that so refreshing because you seem to want everyone to succeed with their particular blog endeavors.

I always enjoy stopping by your site and I hope you are doing well!

Hi Peppy!! Boy, we must be mentally connected or something. I have been thinking about you all day. It could have something to do with the fact I’m reading ‘The Healing Code’… I did recommend that for you… did you ever get that suggestion? I dunno… it just seemed right that I shared it with you.

In any event, Peppy… you are so sweet and boost my morale so much. Thanks for your kind words.

I love to share my friends… particularly when I feel they can benefit my other friends and readers.

After all… why not?? If someone deserves a pat on the back… I like to see them get one!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I will pop over to your blog to catch up on your family and antics.
