Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining

Every cloud has a silver lining

Every cloud has a silver lining

Every cloud has a silver lining and today I’m doing my best to focus on the silver lining with vigour! Actually, I usually do, but as a human, I’ve had ups and downs just like everyone else. Today I’m focusing on turning lemons to lemonade and believing that most things happen for a reason.

Back to my silver lining: Because I now stay at home, I‘ve built my online business and have met hundreds of people in the process. Because of my business, I have been able to help many people get started and have mentored others with suggestions and advice.

I’ve made friends and I am involved in a wonderful community of supporters. (I would have never experienced any of this either!)

Because of my business and the valuable life lessons it teaches, I’ve grown. I’ve also changed. Mostly for the better. It’s made me stronger and more powerful. It’s helped me see things in a different light. It’s helped me set and reach goals.

Its taught me that life does have its way of throwing curves sometimes but it’s up to you to focus on the positives, make the most out of each day.

If you’ve met me today, maybe it’s for a reason. Maybe it’s so I can help you with the next season of your life. Maybe you need to grow, overcome and move forward like I did.

The point I’m trying to make is you should always look for the underling reasons why some things happen. Choose to make lemonade from lemons, do something incredible that you may not do otherwise, and remember that every cloud has a silver lining.

Remember we all have challenges, heartaches from time to time, so always be kind. You never know what is going on in the lives of others or what they are facing.

Always be grateful for the people you meet, the people in your life and the people from your past. Take lessons learned and share them with others and make some life changes. They may be in your life for a reason, but maybe…only for a season.

I’m thankful to you for reading my Blog. I’m thankful for my beautiful kids, my family and Johnny. I’m also thankful for all my wonderful friends from the past and the present. Though saddened, I’m also thankful to my ex DH although he probably will never know.

None the less, I still want to thank the people from my past, so to my ex DH: Thanks for the memories and the seasons we shared. I learned a lot from you. I hope somewhere you might secretly feel the same. Happy anniversary… so to speak. You’re obviously on my mind.

I’ll be glad to get through today, but I’m thankful for it; and because every cloud has a silver lining, I know that it’s been a good day of reflection for me and that tomorrow will be easier. I’m continuing to focus on all the positives of life and I’m glad for the gift of being here to do so!

What cloud are you grateful for? Leave a comment and lets compare silver linings!

Hi Jayne,

Thank you for sharing a vulnerable moment with the world. Life is tough sometimes, but as you know, it’s all part of living and learning.

There is a silver lining to every cloud and it’s great you’ve found it on this one. 😉

Thanks Susanna, life is tough sometimes, but it’s also great… and the tough times just make us stronger. Blogging can be an excellent outlet can’t it!? Thanks for reading! Jayne

You’re welcome Ana… and thanks for looking again…. and your continued support. Sometimes in life you have to ‘choose’ to be up… because feeling low doesn’t change a thing… so its silly to miss out on all the good things!!
